This commercial released extension by Europress Software adds a large selection of commands that allow you to program amazing quality 3D games in STOS. Comes with a good selection of examples.
As the name implies this extension allows you to access the STE’s blitter chip. Useful if you want to shift blocks of data.
Written by Asa Burrows, this extension allows you to access the STE’s features such as smooth fullscreen scrolling, the extra joystick ports and the STE’s 4096 colour palette.
Useful little extension by Lee Upcraft that allows you to create fast moving parallax stars that move in different directions. Useful for space type games.
This shareware extension, released by Top Notch, brings a host of new commands to use as faster replacements to existing STOS commands. One useful command is the MouseOff command which completely disables the mouse rather than just hide it.
No doubt the king of the extensions. This former shareware extension by Top Notch contains more commands than any other extension. The main feature is that it allows you to create scrolling tile games. Another great feature is its own sprite engine which allows you to create and display unlimited sprites called Bobs.
Written by Martin Cubitt, the extra extension adds a host of useful commands such as “ppsc” which allows you to paste graphic blocks anywhere on screen, ignoring the ST’s sixteen pixel boundary bug. Other useful commands allow you to convert Iff files, depack Tiny pictures and blur part of the screen.
Written by Les Greenhalgh, this useful extension allows you access to the ST’s parallel port, the ability to create mega zones and a host of other useful commands.
